As a silvery-white metal, tin is a ductile , malleable , and highly crystalline . Early tin exploitation appears to have been centred on placer deposits of cassiterite . Tin crusher or tin ore crusher is a machine used in tin mining quarry.

Tin does not occur naturally by itself, and must be extracted from a base compound, usually cassiterite. Cassiterite is the only commercially important source of tin, although small quantities of tin are recovered from complex sulfides such as stannite , cylindrite , franckeite , canfieldite , and teallite . Minerals with tin are almost always in association with granite rock, which, when they contain the mineral, have a 1% tin oxide content. Secondary, or scrap, tin is also an important source of the metal and the recovery of tin through secondary production, or recycling of scrap tin, is increasing rapidly.

Because of the higher specific gravity of tin dioxide, about 80% of mined tin is from secondary deposits found downstream from the primary lodes. Tin is often recovered from granules washed downstream in the past and deposited in valleys or under sea. The most economical ways of mining tin are through dredging , hydraulic methods or open cast mining. Most of the world’s tin is produced from placer deposits, which may contain as little as 0.015% tin.

The majority of the tin mines on Dartmoor are located in granite country rock and most of the lodes trend ENE–WSW and are of limited length, though there are exceptions. In the underground workings, the tin ore, cassiterite , was usually found in association with large amounts of tourmaline , and in central Dartmoor with much specular haematite.

Tin mining methods include Streaming,Open-pit mining, Underground mining. After collection the tin ore had to be crushed, concentrated and then smelted. As it became necessary to regularly process pieces of ore-bearing rock that were too large to be directly ground in a crazing mill, stamping was introduced.

First the tin ore is blasted, loaded and transported to the primary crushers. Then the tin ore is crushed and screened.Tin ore will use jaw crusher,cone crusher,impact crusher to crushing.In the primary crusher, the ore is broken into smaller pieces of less than 25 centimetres in diameter. Crushed tin ore is then loaded on to a conveyor belt which takes it to the storage bin. In the storage bin, ball mills and other grinding machine grind the ore until it is a fine powder.During the crushing process, we has improved the capacity and end crushing products with our secondary tin crusher and tertiary crusher.

The total energy consumption is reduced considerably. Comparing the operation efficiency of cs cone crusher and hydraulic cone crusher, we find cs cone crusher achieved better results in tertiary crushing. And if installing the same number of secondary and tertiary crushers, a part of operation is transmitted from tertiary to secondary crushers where the liner wear is three times less, which significantly influences on the cost reduction in the crushing process.
